JUAN CARLOS BATISTA

Juan Carlos Batista has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of La Laguna. His work moves between the surreal and the conceptual. His latest exhibitions include Carne triste at Casal Solleric in 2018; Tiempo es de que sea tiempo at N2 Galería in Barcelona and La trinchera errante at Sala El Aljibe at CIC El Almacén in Lanzarote. The individual project Realidad casi humo was held at the Centro de Arte La Regenta in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and at the Juan Ismael in Fuerteventura in 2017 and at the TEA (Tenerife espacio de las Artes). In 2013 he exhibited at the Artizar Gallery “Crónicas adulteradas”. El paisaje amnesico at the Nieves Fernández gallery, included in the 2012 photoespaña off festival.
