Luna Bengoechea Peña holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of La Laguna (2009). Her work revolves around the problems of the modern food industry, which are perpetuated in an environment where we have lost contact with the origins, the natural environment, and the provenance of our food.
A discourse that focuses on new food production models in a system dictated by economic interests and speculation with natural resources. And it has been reinforced after suffering a health problem that forced her to change her eating habits.
With a trajectory of several years of research in this field, she tries to delve into this discourse to investigate the contemporary reality of the food industry and its contradictions.
